Greetings!

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I greet and welcome each of you to the Student Task Force section of ARCA’s website. As the Student Task Force Representative, I would like to continue in the great works of my forerunners. My goals are to: (a) increase student membership/involvement in ARCA, (b) keep the national, regional, and school group initiatives functioning as a unit, and (c) continue the student recognition initiative (Doctoral Student of the Year, Master Student of the Year, and Student Paper Awards), The above goals are just my initial vision and I am not limited to those listed because I welcome all student participation and feedback

The ARCA Student Task Force truly takes pride in uniting all students who are concerned with improving the lives of individuals with disabilities. I encourage each of you to tour the website and learn more about the ARCA Student Task Force. Furthermore, I challenge each of you to take full advantage of the services and leadership opportunities designed for you by becoming involved and active in your academic, regional, and national community.

Thank you for viewing our section of the website and for your interest in becoming involved. If you have any questions, concerns, and/or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to working with you and I wish each of you success in your educational endeavors.

Regards,

Quiteya D. Walker, Ph.D.
